Every apartment or bungalow in every Retirement Security Court is self-contained and carefully designed to meet the needs of older people. And at every Court there are extensive communal facilities including a very comfortable lounge, a dining room and a meeting room.

Many Courts have a pleasant conservatory and all have a guest suite available for Owners’ visitors or prospective purchasers who may be considering a move to the Court. Settings vary widely but all have attractive gardens and landscaped areas which are carefully maintained.

All of the Courts are designed to mobility standards, so that both communal areas and the individual properties are easily accessible and convenient to use, even in the extreme situation that someone becomes confined to a wheelchair. Careful attention is paid to the design details so that there is not even a single step to be climbed.

Hallways and doorways are wider than usual, sockets and switches are conveniently placed and flooring is chosen with safety and ease of movement in mind, plus a multitude of other details to make life easier.
This is all achieved with subtlety and style borne of over twenty years specialist experience in this field and very close attention to the requirements and desires of Owners.

A speech alarm call system is fitted to every dwelling with pull cords in every room of both the private dwellings and the communal areas. In an emergency this enables an Owner, guest or member of staff to speak to the Duty Manager, one of whom is on the premises 24hrs a day, every day of the year, although after 10pm this is generally only for emergencies.
