At each Court there is an Owners' Company. The Owner of each apartment or bungalow automatically holds one share in the Owners’ Company and the Owners are the only shareholders.
Shareholders elect their own Board of Directors who meet regularly to take the necessary decisions for the running of the Court and they are the employers of the staff. The Directors are closely supported by the staff of Retirement Security Ltd, the managing agents, which also acts as Company Secretary.
Perhaps most importantly, the Owners’ Company at each Court controls the service charge level and how it is allocated annually.
