At Retirement Security, we are dedicated to providing our clients with transparency and clarity. This is why when any of our retirement properties are sold, the seller pays a transfer premium of up to 3% of the sales price to the freeholder, Retirement Security Limited (RSL). RSL does not charge ground rents and does not charge for its estate agency services. There is a monthly service charge payable by owners which includes one and a half hours domestic assistance per week. Further information is available from the Court Manager.
HALL: You enter the hall from the front door, which gives you access to both bedrooms, the bathroom, and the living room. There is a large storage cupboard in the hallway, and a GCH radiator.
LOUNGE: 16’4″ x 13’1″ (4.98m x 4.00m) This is a westerly facing room which is bright and spacious, looking out onto the well-maintained lawns and gardens. There is a GCH radiator in the lounge and an electric fire. There are telephone and television outlets in the lounge.
KITCHEN: 8’0″ x 10’8″ (2.45m x 3.25m) Accessed from the lounge, this is a well-equipped kitchen with a westerly facing window, allowing ample light into the room. There are sufficient storage cupboards, some of which are wall mounted, and plenty of workspace. There is an integrated fridge freezer, with a built-in eye level oven and separate hobs. The GCH boiler is situated in the kitchen. There is a radiator in the kitchen.
BEDROOM ONE: 10’5″ x 12’3″ (3.17m x 3.74m) A large bedroom with an easterly facing window, looking out onto the balcony. This room will comfortably take a king size bed and bedroom furnishing. It also offers a very large walk-in wardrobe. There is a further storage / airing cupboard in this room. There is a telephone point in the main bedroom. It is heated by a GCH radiator.
BEDROOM TWO: 8’7″ x 10’6″ (2.61m x 3.20m) Again, the window faces east; slightly smaller than the main bedroom but will comfortably fit a double bed and bedside furnishings. Again, there is a GCH radiator in the room.
BATHROOM: 8’0″ x 10’8″ (2.45m x 2.45m) A spacious room with a walk-in bath, w.c. and basin. It is tiled throughout to a high standard. There is a heated towel rail, a GCH radiator, and an extraction fan in the bathroom.
With 24-hour staff, you can be assured that should you require any assistance, it will be with you within minutes. The Duty Manager is available from 0700 to 2130 in their office and will respond to emergencies after this time.
The site is completely gated, and all access is monitored by the Duty Manager, to ensure your safety.
There is ample free on-site parking for you and your visitors. There is a buggy store where you can keep and charge your electric buggy should you have one. All rooms have pull cords to summon assistance, and personal pendants are also available.
There is a high-quality restaurant on site, that serves nutritious three course lunches every day. We cater for all dietary needs and preferences.
There is a laundry service available at Minster Court. There are deliveries of papers, milk, and prescriptions, with a butcher, baker and fish merchant visiting each week. Hairdressers and other professionals also come to the Court for your convenience.
Minster Court has a sizeable garden, with a greenhouse and large shed. Some Owners have adopted parts of the garden, and the greenhouse.
The Social group organises entertainment and events. The staff also put on shows for the Owners, and we have special events throughout the year.
Minster Court has remained Covid free throughout the pandemic, and we aim to continue to be safe and infection free.
